Fan Art Gallery Introduction

Between school and college I spent 7 years studying art - and then didn't pick up a pencil or brush for years.

It took a while to realise, but the purchase of my first computer gave me a the artistic outlet I'd been searching for. Being able to manipulate figures and shapes into the images I envisioned was...well...liberating.

Apologies for the rushed look of the introduction collage. I wanted to have something that displayed something of my 'fan girl' interests outside the X-Files, Sentinel and Magnificent Seven but I wasn't in the mood to hunt up my image disks and the Net was not answering my requests for websites. For the record, the images in the following collage are
1) the logo for the 70s British tv series 'The Tomorrow People' - about a bunch of kids with super psychic powers. Lord...did I want to be one of them...still do.
2) the tag image/logo of Six Feet Under - currently one of my favourite new shows.
3) one of the 'Gentlemen' from the episode "Hush" of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. Love the show at any time, but the concept of being unable to speak or scream in fear still gives me the chills.
4) the scruffy looking fellow overseeing all this is Marti Pellow - former lead singer of Wet Wet Wet. Someone once described the Wets as a grown up boy band. That maybe the case - but Marti can still sing rings around the rest of them.

Enough talk from me - go look at the rest of the pics!
